This assignment gave me a new perspective on using AI for writing. I used ChatGPT to help create my original blog post, and I also organized my work in my Google Doc – How has social media changed the way people consume news today?

At first, using AI felt very easy. I could type a prompt and get a full response in seconds. This showed me how helpful AI can be when starting an idea or trying to organize thoughts. It made the writing process faster and less stressful. I learned that AI is good for getting unstuck and helping you think about what to say next.

At the same time, I also realized that AI is not perfect. Sometimes the answers sound good but do not fully match the assignment. I still had to go back, fix things, and make sure everything made sense. This helped me understand that I still need to think for myself and not just copy what the AI gives me.

In terms of trust, I think AI is helpful but I do not fully trust it. I trust it to give ideas and help me start, but not to do everything for me. It is a tool, not a replacement for my own thinking. I think this assignment helped me learn how to use AI in a smart and responsible way!
